Wow, James Spader. You made a really good movie in 1989. Way to go. If anybody's looking for a good character piece, this is one to go for. It's got some dialogue that borders on graphic, but I really didn't think they took anything too far. Everything that's there is there for the story. This is one of Steven Soderbergh's first movies, so it's also interesting to watch in terms of director. I'm even listening to the filmmakers' commentary as I write this. Well, sort of listening. Anyway, it's maybe not for everyone, but it's definitely a worthwhile film. And it ends well. I love when movies end well.
