Secretary

This is one of those movies I had always heard about and had wanted to see for a long time. Besides the fact that a Gyllenhaal is in it (Maggie Gyllenhaal to be precise), the plot is pretty interesting. Maggie plays Lee Holloway who is a secretary for E. Edward Grey, a lawyer, played by James Spader. We soon find out that Lee has some problems and that Mr. Grey tends to be a bit dominant and has a knack for finding submissive employees. He soon has Lee doing many seemingly crazy things just because she'll do them and because she kind of wants too. The part I had always heard about was Lee calling up her boss to find out what she could eat for dinner, being spanked for making typing mistakes and sitting at a desk all day and night just because she was told she couldn't move. Eventually the "relationship" becomes a bit too much for Grey and he fires Lee. The movie's not quite over yet though and you might just be surprised at the ending. There's a bit of objectionable content in this movie, but I would rate this one as a must-see.
